okay so if i wanted to DIY a solution to temporarily stop the brake lights from coming on (for driving with night vision), could i install a toggle switch on the ground wire of the brake light sensor that's connected to the pedal so it just interrupts the continuity of the lights when the switch is engaged or would that not work?

If I already have one key five but I lost the second key fob to my SRX 2011 XR S4 SRX four how do I programmed it if I have the key to the second key five but I don’t have the fob itself

My fob unlocks and locks the doors, but the dash doesn’t turn on, the engine doesn’t start, and the horn doesn’t chirp. Did the anti theft deterrent system activate? I just programmed a new remote and it’s been working fine for about 5 days.
